Tough Titty
Yesterday was my wife's cousin's church wedding. Everyone in her family was there. We all took time off be there as a family. The cool thing about this is that we were given a couple of months notice for this. That gave us ample time to look for the proper threads (The motif was Filipiniana) and you guessed it, I wore a Barong Tagalog. Neat! I’m not really a guy who loves wearing those, heck the only thing I like to wear is jeans and shirts, but since this is a very rare occasion, I wholeheartedly obliged. The wedding was at Don Bosco Church and the reception followed at the Manila Peninsula. The priest freaked me out. He was actually mad. It was kinda messed up because that was supposed to be a wedding and not a speech at a political rally. He even tried selling a book (which was only Php95@ at National Bookstore). BAH! Moving forward, the reception time stated at the door was 6:00 am, but we were only allowed to go in at 7:00 PM. We were already sooo hungry by then, when suddenly my tooth started hurting. I could not believe my luck. It hurt so bad that I wasn’t able to eat well. There were a lot of good food, and I was a buffet. AHHH!! Anyways, I was still able to eat, even though it was not that much, I tried my best to taste a little of everything.
Today was
different and it started out pretty good. Woke up at around 10:00 am and
vacuumed the car and the room. We watched a couple of Bleach (Anime) episodes
which I previously downloaded and just plain chilled. That’s how I want my day
off to be. Just plain relaxing at home, may it be in front of my PC or watching
DVD’s while drinking coke and eating whatever my wife cooks for me. Just as I
was about to leave, it friggin rained. Yup, I know you know what comes after
raining. TRAFFIC! It doesn’t matter because I made it to work on time anyways
BUT as soon as I got here, and just as I park, I notice that my break lights
are grounded. They would not turn off, and to top that off, the auto lock on
the driver side door does not respond to the alarm. Had to remove the positive
terminal of the battery just to make sure it doesn’t get discharged. Am so
sleepy right now.. Will update later.
